Manny Pacquiao's Nike Air Max Bizness Players Exclusive (PE)

After the big mega buck fight of Oscar dela Hoya and Manny Pacquiao where Pac-Man demolished the Goldenboy in every round, the Nike decided to give Pac-Man a Players Exclusive Shoe/Sneaker.

Not all players of any kind of sports has an Players Exclusive Nike shoes. This is something or another thing that Filipinos can be proud of.
The Air Max Bizness is outfitted in the colors of the Filipino flag as well as a large graphic on the upper. A lasered design can also be found on the box which features “PACQUIAO” written across the top.

And yes, this is a basketball shoes. In my opinion, you can really use it in the court since there are some instances that there are some heated arguments then a brawl. Maybe if you wear this shoes, you can also have the speed of Pac-Man in the ring and beat the hell of them. What yeah think?! :P

Thanks Fernz!

Niños Inosentes

Do you know what December 28 is in Philippines? It's the Niños Inosentes Day!

This day is like a "forget day" to any adults who knew thi s event. Why? Well, if someone ask you to lend them some money and if you happen to give them some amount well.... better forget the money that you just lend. Niños Inosentes Day is where Filipinos can ask for money then the loaners will literally forget it to pay the debt. It's a habit that some elders do it up to now. A different way of practical joke to ask, hehehe.

Better remember this day 'coz no one will ever pay you a cent!

Merry Christmas!

This is the day of gift giving, birth of Jesus (to some catholics), reunions and everything.

This is were all kids are very happy and very excited about their gifts. A time were Santa Claus is at his famous part of the year.

In my family, I personally not telling my kids about Santa's giving them gifts because I would like to show them a bit of reality but I do tell stories about Santa. It's not about whose giving but how it was given to them is important. Some gifts may be cash, toys or any items we admire but the famouse gift of all is love. I teach my children in their early fresh minds. Understanding it may be a bit hard for them but at least having an idea of what I say to them can be or can make a difference to them when they grow up.

When my daughter first saw the Jollibee commercial about giving toys to others she ask me what about it. I answered her that not all kids in the world can have toys like her or even clothes that she wear. I told her that she can help by giving some of her old toys or even not so old toys of her belongings. I was surprised that she hand pick a set of toys that can be a good gift to others.

If only we can all teach our selves too to be a Santa to others then the spirit of Christmas can happen not only once a year but though all the days of the coming year.

Happy holidays!

Return to the Gym

It's been a while now since I'm 90% fully recovered from my sciatica problem. I miss my work out routine now that I can almost do what I usually do.

For now, I'm looking for a better supplements that I can use or take when I start my work out. One or two in my wish list is the BSN NO-Xplode and BSN Nitrix.

I've read their reviews about it and some of their competitors. I'm really impress about this two. The Nitrix can expand my blood vessels to increase my blood flow, orygen and nutrient contribution or delivery to my muscle cells. The NO-Xplode is a creatinebase that can elevate my physical strength to expand my pumps, additional stamina for my hard core training and for mental focus.

With this two in my system, I can gain and retain my body again in no time. Now, I'm looking for a protein shake to enhance my muscle more. I'm choosing between BSN Cell Mass or BSN Syntha-6 versus Optimum 100% whey Protein by ON.

I can start buying this things after I bought my kids and my wife some of their christmas gifts. Well, whatever fits my budget.

If you want to know more about body building and supplements, just visit BodyBuilding.com it can help you improve more.

Voltes V

Speaking of Animé. I have some personal favorites too. Voltes V, Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater and Death Note. Their stories are unique and some are very funny to me. There are surprise action(s) that can make your funny bone tickle. But the top of it all is Voltes V. I didnt finish this series because of the martial law. The government think that this movie is to violent for the kids. But thanks to GMA chanel 7 I repeat my childhood again. Then came a movie, the last parts of the series that didnt show on TV. I do watch it in the silverscreen of SM Cinema. Wow, I feel like a kid again that time.

Anyway, since i saw them on our very first black & white television in 80's, my imagination of being a member of them makes me smile and believe that they can be real (well, for a kid). When they spring unto action, the front of the camp big falcon opens and launches the five airships of Voltes V.
  1. Cruiser (head of voltes v) - piloted by Steve Armstrong
  2. Bomber (arms of voltes v) - Mark Gordon
  3. Panzer (body of voltes v) - Big Bert Armstrong
  4. Frigate (legs of voltes v) - Little John Armstrong
  5. Lander (feet of voltes v) - Jaime Robinson
When a boazanian fleet attacks the earth, Voltes V is there to help and protect and when the five ships of Voltes V cant handle them, they form unto one giant robot.... "let's volt in......" then came along the background music. It's cool when that part comes.

Voltes V has variety of weapons to attack the enemy. Here are some arsenals that I can still remember:
  1. Finger Missiles
  2. Voltes Bazooka
  3. Chain Knuckles
  4. Eletromagnetic Top
  5. Electromagnetic Whip
  6. Laser Sword (the most powerful of all)
When Voltes V attacks the enemy with his laser sword, he will cut it to a V shape as a signature for his victory. Astig!

Dayo the Movie

I just stumble upon this web site yesterday. At first, I thought that this is just an ordinary low budget cartoon or animé. But when I saw the 1 minute trailer, wow! I'm impressed! A new look for the new generation. Its an entry for the MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) this December 2008. Dayo is the the title of the animé/cartoons.

A young boy name Bubuy crossroads with a manananggal name Anna. Anna didnt eat Bubuy 'coz she's a vegetarian she said. I know that this movie is very interesting to watch and has much more to offer.

I downloaded their trailer and let my kids watch it. Well watcha know... they love it! Even the theme song of it that goes "lipad, lipad, kaya kong lumipad... lipad, lipad ano man ang iyong hangad...." and I think it was sung by Rocksteddy.

Anyway, I hope that this is a good start for filipino talents or artists to show their wares. And I hope that they'll feature more of our culture and some local mythology or persona of it. Phillipines are full of different stories and beliefs.

You can visit their website to know more about their characters and stuffs just click the link.

The Dayo movie is part of the Manila Film Festival this coming 2008 of December. My kids cant wait to watch this. See you there guys!

La Liga MyPBA

The MyPBA.com base forum had organized a league of it's own. A small or short basketball tournament for the members and friends of mypba.com.
There are five teams in the league.
Blue Blazers
Gray Stallions
Ninjacoolers White
Los Verdugos Verdes
Yellow Chillerz

On the opening day last November 22, 2008 that held on Camp Crame, we had an all star game for us players. We have a...
  • Buzzer Beater won by Kenneth Rivas of Blue Blazers
  • Free Throw Shot won by Jason Ong of Ninjacoolers White
  • Tandem Shootout won by Nick Quizon & Dennis Daria of Ninjacoolers White
  • 3 Point Shootout won by Amats Adelino of Los Verdugos Verdes
  • All Star Light Team (Yellow Chillerz & Ninjacoolers White combo) VS All Star Dark Team (Los Verdugos Verdes, Blue Blazers & Gray Stallions selected players) and the Dark team won by the score of 88-62 loss of the Light team.
  • MVP of the All Star game is Nick Abad of Gray Stallions
Yesterday or November 24 is the regular games held. First game is the Blue Blazers (66) vs (75) the Gray Stallions. The game was almost a match on both ends of the court but on the last canto the Blazers didnt have any more fire power to fuel the game and resulted a loss for the fiery Stallions.

Second game, the Los Verdugos Verde (76) vs (58) Yellow Chillerz. The first half is a sore eyes on both teams. All shots just got in and out of the ring and some lose balls and a blunder of passes. But when the Verdugos got the rhythm the Chillers got too cold on the court. The Chillerz just frost on the court. Amats Adelino and Teng Cortez showed a rainbow connection from anywhere. But the full court press and trapping on the both courts made the Verdugos more powerfull.

Aksem's Chirotherapy

This afternoon, I went to Aksem at Bautista street in Makati. This is my second time here this year. The first time or session that I have is a steam bath, a full body massage and a chirotherapy. But this session is done around August of this year. And it cost me a PhP 850.00 I think....

My friend Irish recommend this to me since I always complain about my back. She tried it and the session last for 5-7 then her back pain never came back since then. She started it last year and when she learned abou my back pain she recommend it to me to try the Aksem way of chirotherapy.

This time, I only have a chirotherapy. It doesnt mean that I dont like their full body massage, I only have one 'coz I need to go back to our house 'coz I know that after this chirotherapy thing... I really need a sleep.

Mang Romy is my chirotherapist for today and a student of Aksem. Yup, You read it right. Since this is my second time, I noticed that a veteran and a student shall handle you. The student learns through seeing on how a real pro do it on an actual massage.

My session will only run for an hour and I know that this is going to be another long hour for me. Mang Romy asked me to lay flat on my stomach and started at my heel on the right. I dont see whats he's doing but I feel real pain on it when he presses it. Then when I only can feel a lesser pain, Mang Rudy goes to my calf and when the pain there is tolerable or just been lessen by his massage he will proceed to another part and on and on.

After it, they asked me to drink a tea. I pay the cashier a PhP 600. Well, its all worth it 'coz the pain just subside with it.

Well, if you have a back pain or need a good body massage, you can try to call them at 466-2298 or visit them at Maria Alicia Building, Bautista Street corner Calatagan Street, Makati City.

Ischiatic / Sciatic Nerve

Man oh man......
Jimi's life has ups and downs and this time its a down time.
This is regarding my back pain, today is the only day that I felt really relieve!

Why, its been a month or so since I felt so much pain. I've been to so many doctors... so many rehab sessions, so many physical therapist that I've met here and there. But the pain is still there and I thought that this pain is goin' under the knife.

My doctor gave a list of medicine to take. When I look the prescription, my eyes widened! Man! I have to take four different medicines just to relieve the stupid pain.... and the doc added that sooner or later the doc will inject a steroid. In my mind... it's a hell "NO"! The doc even told me that I need MRI. Well, MRI is cool but steroids and a ton of liver toxic pain killers... NO!

That's when I decided to go traditional healing. Yes, you read it right!

I went to St. Clare Patronage of the Sick & Poor. It's been a while now and you know what? The pain eases out slowly. But the best part is when Manong Rudy Cacdac massage me....

Mang Rudy's ideals and techniques are old but very effective on me. He uses Shiatsu and swedish massage and after that he used a accupressure on me. Everytime he presses a pressure point on my right leg and I felt it like I needed to go to the toilet and take a leak.

After two hours, the session that I have with Mang Rudy ended. Thats when my breathing returned to normal. And when I stood up.... the pain from my back had gone. In just one session with Mang Rudy my pain just gone with the wind.

Mang Rudy explained that my problem is not just my lumbar that my doctor told me... the problem is so simple as he explains... he said that its my "Ischiatic Nerve" (click link to know more) that causes my back pain. Although I dont understand some of his explaining but the point is that the pain is gone. He told me that I needed four more sessions with him, if I skip one then i'm back on square one. Well, do I have a choice? So, I'll have to see him again.

After this or after the four sessions, I think I can return to my regular sessions like my regular routine at the gym to burn some fats that I gained and to jam again to my band mates. Man, I really miss those things. And also.... I can play basketball again and that is only a small part of jimi's life, my life :P

By the way, I visited the http://www.spine-health.com/ and you know what? Mang Rudy is right. All I need is a good massage and some acupunctures sessions. Try to visit the site about back pains and you will learn more. Well, I did. :P

Saint Clare Patronage of the Sick and Poor

Isa pala siyang registered nurse at accupuncturist.

Inawit niya ang "Over the Rainbow".

MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game)

Kapag walang magawa sa bahay o opisina at nakatutok maghapon sa computer, ano pwedeng gawin bukod sa chat? Games!

May tatlong kaibigan kasi akong sumali ruon.

Bite Fight - Server 8
CyberDunk
Hitman's Life - Server 1
Hitman's Life - Server 2
Prison Struggle

kung naglalaro ka rin ng ganyan at isa sa mga link ko e andun ka rin, drop me a msg, maybe we can be an ally. and this is an additional to jimi's life, my life!

Tattooed by Joe!

Lower Back Injury

It's been four years since I felt pain again.
It's been four years since I go to my doctor.

Man oh man, my lower back pain is hitting me like Manny Pacquiao punching at my lower back down to my foot.

I tried different things like acupuncture, massage, chiropractor and even a physical therapist rehab. Non of them work at my expectation. Well, all of them gave me a relief for a while but damn!!! Double Damn! It really hurts like hell.

Anyway, next week I have a schedule for an MRI. I hope that this thing don't kill me or stop me from doing what I always do....

Living my life! That is........
