Airport Taxi

Last weekend, me and my familia decided to go to a mall... as we have waited on the street for a taxi to come... a yellow taxi just pulled over in front of us.
In my understanding, the yellow taxi cab is an airport taxi. Meaning, that to all local or tourists that arrived from the airport from any terminal there's a yellow taxi for them to provide them a ride to their destination.

Well, of course it's not free... but the good thing is that the yellow taxi cab can be trusted more. Why? Because you are sure that the yellow taxi cab is registered unlike to the 'kolorum' (unregistered) taxis.

By the time you sit or ride the yellow cab, the driver will radio his ride to authorized it to their base. By this, you can assure that you are safe and your worries being trick by the driver. Here in the Philippines, there are some drivers that takes the long way - to add to their plug down - and some may ask you to add some more money or tip him, unlike the driver that we tried (airport taxi), he is more like a gentleman, answering our queries about his taxi and stuff and informing us about their work.

Anyway, the airport yellow taxi cab has a minimum charge, PhP 70.00 is their plug down rate and a PhP 4.00 for the excess kilometer (I think :P) ...

Getting an airport taxi at your area can be rarely seen. Because they need to get a passenger(s) from the airport then convey them to their home destination. When the airport taxi proceeds to the airport again, then the driver can pick up a passenger(s) before he can go to the airport.

Tip: To be sure, always get the taxi's plate number. You can see this also inside the taxi that is painted at the panel of the window door. Send a SMS to your family or friends about the names of the taxi and also the plate number of it. Better be safe than sorry :)
