At Number...
5) Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' (1960)
This original flick that I've seen on betamax is the first (as far as I have remembered) movie that made me think. How or why? Simple, it's the twist of the story... it made think on how Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) shows his mother but it seems that his mother is dead and he only made it up on his mind that his mother is still alive and still lectures Norman on whatever he will do in his life.
Anyway, the Bates Motel still gives me the chill whenever I saw it on TV... plus the shadow of Norman's mother. Creepy indeed.
4) The Puppet Master
What if your toy(s) is alive and that toy can kill? There are five (5) puppets in the story namely Blade, Jester, Tunneler, Leech Woman and Pinhead.
I saw this movie on VHS and that day it was way more bigger or larger than a betamax :P
When I saw this movie, I also imagine what if m toys can move like them? Hmmm, I better get He-man and my G.I. Joe's action figure to protect me from the likes of them :P
I have also seen the follow up movies of this and there are more puppets that had been added in the movie(s).
If you like killer toys besides from Chucky then this movie is one that I recommend.
3) The Sixth Sense
Anyways, the plot of the story is very well planned and the characters here really act to the fullest to give the audience some chills.
2) The Blair With Project
From a humble budget to a millions of gross revenue and a gazillion of fanatics this movie is indeed a movie t watch.
It will leave you thinking from the start up to the end...
1) The Ring (Japanese Version)
So, if your looking for a real scare, watch this... WTF!!! the phone suddenly rings... thank goodness it's for my brother... I really hate this movie :P
